Preserve a fragile area
Attendance and Urbanization: With over 1, 3 million visitors per year (onshore and offshore) on 7200 ha, the site ranked the creeks is one of the most visited places in France. Tourism and urbanization face biodiversity and contribute to the degradation of this fragile area: soil erosion, decline of Posidonia meadow, water pollution funds ... creeks Preserve wildlife and flora. Do not draw off any ceuillez plant. Do not borrow any shortcuts and stay on marked trails. Traffic at night, the bivouac and camping are prohibited as well.
Fire hazard area often windy, dry vegetation, we deplore average a large fire every 15 years (the last of which destroyed half of the massif is 3500 ha in 1990). Be extremely careful. Watch out for cigarette butts.
Polution: Marine pollution is mainly caused by discharges of urban area. Only a little over 20% of marine habitats are in "good santee" ... Tourism also creates pressure on the middle and seascape. Do not throw away! Allow bags to reduce your waste and why not those you meet!
